Edit:
If he really lied as some of you are claiming, then why aren't they pushing for a court-martial? They can't because they really know he is right, and the best they can do is try and smear his name through the media.

Yeah, that highly decorated 4-star general really had a "deer in the headlights" look. You are just as bad as the media, making up stuff to fit your own agenda.

While attempting to discredit General Petraeus, They stick to the usual agenda of forcing a cut & run, treasonous statements and the continued bashing of the President and the troops.

Call the General a liar as well, scream and throw fits about how they've been lied to and then stay their course by insisting that we've lost the war.
The solution: change their diapers, give them all a good burping and then stick a pacifier in their mouths. I swear, listening to the smut that comes spewing from their mouths is like being stuck in daycare hell.

'Smacked down'???
The situation in Iraq, and the 'version' of the situation in Iraq that Petraeus gave, don't seem to match.
Can we therefore call him a 'little white liar'?

Another thing, if you 'smack down' the people who control the purse strings, you pay the price.
It's coming.

"smacked down,"....ha ha that's rich.

The poor guy looks like a deer in the headlights, scared of being killed for not saying the "right thing."
