this question is asked about a situation in a story you read for class, right? In the story, someone your age had some realization about an adult. Have you ever realized somthing about an adult in your life? If there aren't any such adults in your life, you can answer about others your age.
What happened that caused you to see this about that person.
For example, maybe you know this really bitchy hateful adult, and then one day, you learn that this person has some terrible problem that makes them unhappy. Suddenly, you realize that they are bitchy because they hurt. Learning of their terrible problem is the even that brought you to that awareness.

Well it's a little hard to tell what's going on from those two sentences alone - but I'll give it a try.

"Have you ever come to a similar realization..." It's asking you if you felt the same way - or had the same experience with some adult in your life.

The next sentence is saying if you answered yes to the first question, for you to describe what specific situation or event took place to make you feel that way about that adult.

But - since you said that you don't have any similar realizations your answer would be no.

Hope this helps!

Could it be referring to the question before it? What is the theme of the homework you're doing? Sometimes a question farther down in an assignment refers to a subject mentioned in the question right before it.

But in essence it wants you to bring your real life experience to the question. Have you had something similar happen to you concerning an adult? If so what happened?

[Just saw your extra information.]

The paragraph talks about having a concept of someone, someone in pictures and in your memory. But the reality now is different.

Good luck.

hmm..what is the "realiziation"?

i'm taking this question to ask if you've ever come to some realization (about something) similar to an adult's realization (about the same thing) for example you and an adult have come to realize that "no good deed goes unpunished" because both of you had done some other person a favor only for that favor to go unappreciated(?).

but i'm thinking this question is missing something.

I think it means has some adult in your life made you think of someone else, and if so what made you think so. For instance, has you Mom or Dad done something that you remember your grandparents doing--like using the same phrases, some movement they make, etc. without realizing they are doing it?? Or has a younger brother/sister done what your parents have done the same way??

It is asking if you have ever realized the same thing about some adult you know. It is difficult to explain better without knowing the context.

hmm. like something that you experience makes you recognize that in some adult you know? like if you develop an eating disorder........and now you understand how come your aunt who always want to look hot always goes straight to a bathroom after eating etc ???? hope that helps

I guess it means to just tell about a conclusion which you have made about an adult and how you came up with that conclusion.
