do you think the MAJORITY of americans are smart, or wise or intelligent? i am not realy talking about their educational leval i am talking about their iq's and how well they think for themselves and just in general how smart they are. do you think americans are mostly stupid? also who is to blame for the general stupidity?(if you believe that the majority is stupid) only americans awnser this one(hard to know what the problems are from the outside looking in)

Hard to answer. There's also common sense. You can have a high IQ and still be dumb as a door knob when it comes to common sense. I think the majority are average. Not very wise smart or intelligent. Many people use just enough of their brains to get by.

I've known and worked with many American citizens who were and are very smart!
Too bad the smart ones aren't running the country. Only the greedy selfish sadistic ones have seized control and run the country for their own profit.

As a matter of Fact,..your society and culture has taught you to make fun of those who are wise and even interested in those feilds!

really depends on your definition of wise.
I find that the average American citizen is lacking in that department. (here comes all the thumbs down)
I guess a good education is more stressed upon citizens of other countries.
