Well Saddam was a horrible guy, don't get me wrong. He killed many people. Iraqis lived with the constant threat of terror and violence.

Currently they live with the actuality of such terror and violence though. I am thinking that more people have died or been harmed since 2003 than because of Saddam's rule.

I wish I was wrong.

what is gather is that people did not like Saddam for known reasons. Now to prefer him to others is a puzzle. They liked the toppling and Saddam gone for ever - so there can't be preference to have him again. One thing they did not know , nor any that the "vultures" in wait for influence would do all to wreck Iraq to pieces by all sorts of strategies ans make them suffer that unforeseen fate! Feel free to disregard this remark.
