Of course, but at least his idiot ways are an act. Lou Holtz is the one who is truly an embarrassment.
Edit: Since you don't let me email, it is hard to answer, blibityblabity, but if you have been listening to Holtz, you'd understand. ND is a top 10 team, Michigan will beat Oregon bad, and so on. He just can't get his prejudices out of the way in order to give an objective opinion about things, and it makes him look bad.

Of course he is. Being from Big Ten country myself, I remember him as the head coach at Indiana. His teams were only slightly better than the Little Sisters of the Poor. That's why he's now behind a broadcast desk instead of on a sideline.
