Your question doesn't make sense.

n + (n + 2) = 528
2n + 2 = 528
2n = 526
n = 263

263 + 265 = 528

n * (n + 2) = 528
n^2 + 2n - 528 = 0
(n - 22)(n + 24) = 0

22 * 24 = 528
-22 * -24 = 528

They're right about it needing to be an odd number. In case you just put in the wrong number here's how you'd figure it out. The easiest way to do it would be to subtract one from the odd number (ex. 101-1=100), then divide by 2. This gives you the lower number, (50), then the next higher number (51) would be the other number.

The straight answer is that there are --NO-- such consecutive integers. The sum of any 2 consecutive integers will always be odd, and 528 is even.

Let x = 1st no., x + 1 = 2nd no.

x + x + 1 = 528
2x = 527
x = 263.5

x + 1 = 264.5

Answer: 1st no. = 263.5, 2nd no. = 264.5

Proof:
= 263.5 + 264.5
= 528
