depends on your numbers
-3 - -4 = -3 + 4 = 1
It becomes plus four because two negatives makes a positive the answer is positive because four is biiger than three
-3 - -2 = -3 + 2 = -1
The answer is negative because 3 is bigger than 2
But If you're adding
-2 + -6 = -8
Both signs are the same so the answer has that sign.
-4 + 9 = 5
When adding take the sign of the higher number
-6 + 2 = -4

Let's say you have two negative numbers, -3 and -5

When you add them together:
(-3) + (-5) = -3 -5 = (-8)

When you subtract one from another:
(-3) - (-5) = -3 + 5 = 2

When you subtract one from another in reverse order:
(-5) - (-3) = -5 + 3 = (-2)

As you can see, the answer really depends on the numbers you are dealing with. It is far more effective to learn how the signs and operations change when you deal with negative signs along with operations, such as additons and subtractions.

You add them and they stay negative. That's in math. In English they cancel each other out. So if you say"He can't having nothing" it means he can have something.
