Do you feel that Yale lost any of it's academic esteem as a result of awarding G.W. Bush a degree?

No, I think every university has its embarassments. I remember that in grad school there was a guy in my classes who people suspected of having caught the Chancellor cheating on his wife, because that seemed to be the only logical explanation for his presence!

Yale is an excellent university and nothing will diminish it's reputation (unless it keeps giving out it's crappy engineering degrees... haha.)

yes, and because of all the (probably true) rumors of incredible grade inflation...a lot of employers would pick someone from, say, amherst or williams over yale because of the grade inflation deal.
