To become someone else's problem.....

Seriously, if you knew how lazy and inconsistent this person was, you'd understand. We've gone as far as reporting her to management, but nothing is done. You can tell her the same thing 15 times and she still doesn't learn.

Some of these answers are pretty funny though!

Thanks!

Those kinds really stink on ice but your best move, the boss is blocked. So, without knowing the details of your business area other than quitting here's my suggestion list: First, every day start out praying FOR her. Don't tell God to make her a decent person, just pray for blessings for her. Maybe she'll win the lottery and quit. Who cares. It's a good discipline anyway. Second, is there another department or such that you could work in? Would you need some particular skills, etc? If so, if you really like the company overall, why not work like crazy to get all the qualifications you'd need so you could move FROM her TO something good within the company? Third, consider meeting with the boss. Do NOT knock her in any way, shape, or form. Ask him if you can get an evaluation of your work and future in the company: how can you be a better employee for him? Maybe he'll allude to this woman's behaviour with you--could be a good way to get that brought up. If not, then she's getting off on doing this to those she considers "underlings" which includes clients because she's got a personal agenda she's running instead of being a professional. Too bad the boss appears to be blind. If he says he's concerned about your performance or such you can say that you want to be the best employee he has--what can you do to improve. Gives him reason to want to work with you. He might also have something on his mind--expanding the business, whatever. If you make yourself known and show a sincere interest in being an asset that can't work against you unless he's a complete ***, in which case it's best you leave. Good luck!

These answers are very amusing....Gee for starters try stapling a fish to the underside of their seat. :) But I doubt much will work if they are that annoning. Any ways if you have the luck like me the next person would be twice as bad.
What would your grandma tell ya? Mine would say, you can't change others you can only change yourself.

Fake an injury but pretend to be very dedicated to work. Then forge a doctor's note (I'll do one for you) saying you need a helper when going to the washroom. Take this note to your boss and say you're only comfortable with this one person doing it. Then, go to the loo every ten minutes until your 'helper' leaves.

that's very mean....you might not like the person and find them so damn irritating but remember that they have a family to feed and bills to pay. so just tell them off and avoid them afterwards although that would bring production down in the company or the office and you might feel bad afterwards

1. Leave a new deodorant stick on their desk.
2. Bury them with "keep busy" work.

SABOTAGE that person's work. After a while he/she will get frustrated, alienate themselves from everyone and the problem will be gone...buh bye...for good!!

it took several nights at the bar to come up with this one!

you have a few options
-correct their grammar constantly
-be viciously mean to them when nobody's watching
-if they bring in food, eat it or throw it out
-sabotage their work, but don't get caught
-get other coworkers against them
-just mess up their stuff
-spread rumors

good luck, i guess.
