what will be trendy in the future?

right now everyone likes to dress like gangsters or ballers or whatever you would call it. other people like to be rockers, emo, scene, punk, goth, metal heads etc.

with all the things that are "in" these days, i wonder what will be so cool to do in the future (maybe 2020)

some look of past decades maybe from the 50's or 70's, 80's or so on

but it will have a modern twist to it

Not everyone, I dont. I am hoping that a more sophisticated trend will pop out. I.E. casual wear or for guys a 1930-40 like trend with a cool twead suit and even a nice cotton/wool long coat, only more modern. One thing I know is the Fedora hat comeback. I am also tired of the gangsta'/balla' trend.

P.S. can you imagine a trend similar to the late 1700- 1800s, such as the Pirates of the Caribbean type,Hmmmm.

why i am glad you asked, i have seen the future and i will tell you it. I... the all seeing eye shall tell you what will be popular in the future...

white... yes all white clothing.... all people wear white clothing... all white pants, white shirts, white shoes, white eyebrows, and white hair. not even designed any dirfferently, everything is exactly the same. every single room on the planet is white. all the grass is dead from global warming, so you have some brown on the planet. but mostly everyone lives indoors and watches television allday everyday, and takes anti-depressants.

nobody even speaks, nobody goes to school (the tv provides all the education you need), every room is dead silent, as most of the world is ""because most of the animals have died and every bodies brains are fried"" by anti-depressants. everybody thinks about conversating but lose their train of thought within milliseconds as too many thoughts pass by to firmly grasp any of them.
""nobody see's the outdoors except on television screen's and everybody die's without a dream""

no body has short or long-term memory. every body is silent and watches only one 10 second long program on television that replay's over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. oh yes there is two different channels to choose from, and when you change it there is a 3 second long action or romance scene... then right back to the 10 second program 3 seconds from where you left off....

ahh the bright future... very bright white, very dull and silent...

fashion consists of 2 things:
corporate invention forcing clothing on people
peoples tastes, accepting or rejecting what is pushed down.

the only thing you can realy say for cetain is that there will always be roughly three streams, mainstream, offbeat and nerd ^^

for winter 2007-2008 i am predicting striped sweaters, and many layers, wool. possibly a lingering of army green. tennisshoes and ofcourse the high butts for men atleast. i know nothing aobut female fashion. but those golden boots seem to be getting popular (barf)

I make my own style. People who fallow trends religiously are wannabes and just stupid. I do my own thing because I DON'T want to conform to a society of idiots. I'm doing what I can to set myself apart.
