I see he has a lot of fans out there. I wonder what it will be like with all these new people he has to work with. Will miss Forman, Cameron and the British guy, Can't remember his name.
Hugh Laurie is quite the multi faceted actor! He sure brings his character to life and makes him interesting to watch!

I love the way it shows how cruel doctors are---they ARE!
But, like most hospital dramas (except E.R.), the sets are obviously artificial and beautiful---real hospitals are akin to ratty prisons in detail. It would make the show so much better if they made the sets more "noir"---with real dirt, litter, seediness, etc. that is standard in a real hospital, as well as a crowded, horrifying emergency room.
This would make House's attitudes towards the patients so much better dramatically.
They should also present the total bill for the hospital stays and treatments at the end of each show, and describe how no one can possibly pay them, and detail the bankruptcy, etc. effects on the patient's families later---how they were harassed by creditors, lost their homes, jobs, etc. This would be fantastic.

I have been hooked since the very first episode and cannot wait for it to start again!!! Hugh Laurie is such an amazing actor. LOVE him. I love those bright blue eyes. I can't wait to see what the new season is going to bring with the new crew.

I love it. I don't see why a British actor can't act with an American accent. Seems like a double standard. After all, there are alot of American actors faking horrible British accents when they act and we given them awards aka Gwenyth Paltrow, Shakespeare in Love.

I like the show, personally.
I think his personality is a lot of fun to watch - I wouldn't want to work for him (or work with him) ... but watching as a bystander at the madness he inflicts is pretty darn fun.

I totally understand where you are coming from.
I love the show, but it is pretty predictable also. I just get over that, and the fact that he is a jerk, and enjoy the show for what it is, very entertaining.

I love him through and through. My Dr. relative can relate to him. He's psycotic but effective and a realist with addiction issues, like a lot of docs.

the show is great , but why does the english actor have to play it with an american accent, either play him as an english doctor or get an american actor, it's just weird

I own Seasons 1 through 3. I love them. He is utterly and completely without brakes. What's right is right, and what's wrong is tempting.
