Hello,

We are thinking of retiring near Seattle or Olympia.
And someone was nice enough to inform me that Sequim and Anacortes are the retirement communities around the Seattle area. Does anyone know where the retirement communities are around Olympia?
If there are none, which areas or side of town would be quietest/safest?

Thanks!

I grew up in Olympia (quite a long time ago). Panorama City is one of the oldest and nicest retirement communities in that area. It is actually located in Lacey which is right next to Olympia. They have a website. Check it out.

Sequim is between Seattle and Olympia. Black Lake is also Beautiful.

The Black Lake area is not very safe. My sister and brother in law live close to there and right in their apartment complex a woman forgot to lock her door and was raped in the middle of the day at gun point. This just happened last week.
