I was told recently that the Fire department lowered the physical testing standards to allow more women in. Do you agree with this? An unconcious body in a burning building doesn't weigh less just because your a woman. I think that women who pass the same test as men should be allowed but i don;t like the special treatment

there shouldn't be special treatment for women because the tests that they have to begin with for men are correct in saving lives... a woman who gets special treatment for testing could fail because of not being trained properly thus resulting in more dead the actually alive...

I would question your source. I think women can be just as strong if not stronger than some men ,not all of course but it may be just like the military and more people are needed so its better than not having enough fire fighters at all ,not?

Maybe the bar was lowered since it was too difficult and perhaps enough weren't passing? just a guess.

mate its happening all over the work place ....its so that every one can be 'equal' and be called a 'person'.....its a joke it really is
