Tell me your story about breaking a bone or getting stitches!


i have broken my wrist flipping backwards off parallel bars and i have never had stitches! whoot!

Well I split my leg open when I was on a camp, I picked a fight with a bunkbed and lost :P

In 6th grade I slide into 3rd base wrong in a gym softball game and broke my foot. I was in major pain but continued to play anyways, because my gym teacher threatened to CARRY me to the nurse's office if I couldn't get up.. Man horrible pain..
In the Summer that year I fell off my bunk bed and broke my wrist.. twice! O_o Small breaks though.
In 7th grade I fell 20 feet out of a tree, directly on to my writst. I moved both bones, and shattered all the little bones in my wrist.. So I had no wrist at all for a while there pretty much, Had surgery and lots of good pain killers.. Wrist still hurts alot to this day.
Freshmen year of high school I broke my ankle playing softball, I needed surgery on it and was on Crutches for 8 weeks, and in a walking boot for 4 more weeks after that, then in an air cast for 2 months after that..I had stitches in that ankle.. 8 stitches.
Lesse.. Sophmore year I was Snow boarding and broke my wrist.. Owie.
Junior year I broke my wrist by skate boarding..
OH 7th grade year I broke my big toe.. forgot abotu that.

Uhmm I broke my wrist skate boarding this year as well, just got out of a cast.

I had stitches in my leg because I fell onto a vase. 5 stitchs.

I have also sprained my wrist, ankle, fingers..and leg many times. I'm a clutz LOL.

All those broken wrists were my left wrist.. Owie..

I never broke a bone, but I've nad stitches before. I was three and over my dad's friend's house. He had rolling chairs at the table. When I was about to sit down, the chair moved, and I banged my chin on the table. Bloody mess. Ugh, I can still remember that exact moment. Another time when I was three (a.k.a. the year of injuries) I was pedaling my tricycle, and then I hit a bump. It was a rough bump, and I flew over the handlebars and landed on my head. However, I was wearing a helmet BUT it FLEW OFF!!!! So yeah, I had a concussion. Bad times...

Ok, I'll tell you (I hope I get best answer, this is gonna take awhile)


I got stitches in my right hand once. What happened was: I was over at a friends house, I was like 10 or 12. We were playing outside with a ball. Me, him and his two sisters. Somehow, the ball ended up in a tree, which was only 7 - 8 feet tall but it was HUGE compared to us.

I saw a nub of a branch sticking out, so I had the brilliant idea of "Hey, I'll just jump up, and grab it, and pull myself up." So I did.

I jumped up, tried to grab it, ended up palming it and pushing in, and going down. It opened my hand. I had a puddle of blood in my hand in less then a second. I ran home screaming and crying and my parents took me to the hospital. I remember they gave me pain killers before putting the stitches in, but I wasn't drugged or anything, so even though I couldn't feel any pain. I could feel them poking, and prodding, and stitching. I wanted to look over while they were doing it but they didn't let me :(

I was playing football with my older brother wearing flip flops at a Target store and I stopped in front of one of those automatic doors and it opened pushing all of the skin on my foot up and it was bleeding terribly. Then I was sitting on a stretcher while they were wrapping it up in a huge bandage, my whole foot! But I never broke anything. Now I'm scared to wear flip flops.

once when i was three i was hiding in a closet (because thats what kids do) and my mom openeind it and didnt see me. she reached to the top shelf to get a pan (it was like a pantry kinda thing) and a wok fell on my head. i had stitches

I was acting stupid and did a cart wheel and hit my ankle off the edge of the air hockey machine at the arcades. I broke my ankle.

I Was admitted into a hospital and they gave me some drugs and sliced my uterus upen and pulled out a baby. I wound up with 10 staples and lots of Demerol :)

I fell of the monkey bars when I was like 5 and got four stiches, it was dumb lol
