My wife and I both contribute to our household. My musical career brings in more money, but Michelle is the glue that holds all of this together.

Why would I bring home the bacon when I can simply rise from the sea, consume the pig, and then retreat back to the depths?

Well... lemme see.
My ex-husband pretty much kept his untold wealth to himself (one of the reasons he is an EX-husband).
My son has a job. I had to take off work for awhile to deal with a medical issue and I did let him bring home the bacon for a bit after my disability payments stopped and my job let me go. (I figured that after 20 years of supporting him, it was my turn to let him take care of Mom).
But now I'm back to work, and I bring home my own bacon and spend it, thankyouverymuch.
