On Live 105.3 with Richard “Big Dick” Hunter, Bill Goldberg was a featured guest on the show and didn’t have any kind words for TNA Wrestling.
Goldberg made the following comments about TNA pertaining to him wrestling for the company:
"TNA totally blows, man. I don't think they have a clue as to what people want to see, I think. They've got a very clouded vision. Right after the Benoit death, WWE and TNA had an opportunity to 'make it right.' They had an opportunity, they had everyone's attention and what does TNA do? They go out and sign 'Pacman' Jones. That in itself, in a nutshell, describes TNA's mentality. That as a viable option for Goldberg? Absolutely not. Those guys don't deserve to have me on their program."
Love him or hate him, Goldberg does make a good point about TNA's horrible decision making following the Benoit tragedy. They had a golden opportunity to distance themselves from trashy programming and give wrestling fans a true alternative. Instead, they sign Andrew "Testosterone" Martin and Adam "arrested 7 times since 2005" Jones.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Goldberg.
I like how he talks about himself in the third person though.

While I agree that Goldberg makes some valid points, I also think he's just blowing off steam because TNA wouldn't sign him, and yes, they have negotiated in the past, and the fact is TNA doesn't WANT Goldberg on their programming.
Goldberg thinks that he's what fans want, when he's not. Nobody wants a 40+ year old never-was built up by some national hype machine steamrolling a roster of young, homegrown up-and-comers, which is what would've happened if Goldberg had gotten signed to TNA under his terms. If you people think Angle's a roster killer, then you must not remember No Surrender, and you DAMN sure don't remember Goldberg in WCW.
On Pacman Jones:
As much as I hate the acquisition, he's done what TNA signed him to do, and that's draw attention. There's no such thing as bad publicity, and Jones Adam Jones was publicity no matter how you cut it. That being said, it was stupid to fire multiple superstars to pay for a man to pretty much write graffiti and stand on a ring apron.
On Test:
Test has been released. He left minimal to no impact in TNA, and odds are he'll be forgotten about soon.
On Both Major Promotions Making The Best Out of Benoit:
WWE's heading in that direction. They're re-hiring guys like D'Lo Brown and Jamal, not necessarily fit guys, but clean guys who can wrestle. I've been saying it for awhile now, and I'll say it again, this could be a revival the likes of the one after the 1980's roid fiasco in WWE. The E's pushing guys that have clean bills of health, like Stevie Richards and CM Punk, and it's a smart move not only for media posterity, but because they're more than just dumb muscle. These guys can wrestle.
TNA's going in the exact opposite direction. They're hiring WWE rejects, re-hashing storylines that weren't interesting the first time they were re-hashed by Russo in the late 90's, taking focus off of what brought them to the dance, the X division, and have shown all around incompitent booking over the past month. Case in point, Angle put over Lethal CLEANLY at No Surrender, only for Jay to go on later in the night and get eliminated like a jobber in the over-compensating Tag Gauntlet. It pissed Angle off, it pissed me off, and it left a lot of fans scratching their heads. Same with Samoa Joe. It seems like he and CM Punk are in a mirrored world. Both men lost their big chance to win world gold on a PPV due to incompitent booking, only CM Punk managed to pick up gold on Television whereas Joe's gearing up to feud with someone other than Angle. TNA needs to do some soul searching and some house cleaning when they get the new primetime slot, but I still maintain that hiring Goldberg wouldn't solve any problem other than stopping Bill's slander on the airwaves.
