if you love someone let them go.....if they come back it was meant to be.........blah blah blah.
its a noble thing to sacrifice in the name of love. But its not fair for the one doing the scarificing. hence the word breakup.
in a way I agree with you. but why suffer with the pain, just for some one else to be happy?
If your willing to do that then find something to keep you busy, so you don't go crazy thinking "Woulda", "Coulda", "Shoulda."

definately true. if that makes him happy, so be it. Plus i wouldnt want a guy by my side if im not the person he really wants to be with. Its what happened with my first bf. I was so in love w him so when he broke up w me i was crushed, but i realized that if he was no longer happy w me, i would rather not have him with me since eventually the relationship would suffer.

Yes, drop him. Do yourself a favor....stop waiting for someone who isn't waiting for you. Start to feel less sorry for yourself and move on. He isn't holding back on your account. Remember that each and every time you start to pine for him. Move on...you will probably find someone much, much better for you and when that happens you will wonder why the heck you wasted so much time.

I agree...sometimes you can love someone and still they aren't the right person for you...and if you truely love and care for them, you do have to let them go....

I love my wife so much and I could never let her go. I would fight to keep her as my wife no matter what I had to do I would do it. I love her so much.

I agree with you. Why have someone you love be miserable, in turn they will make you miserable too. So, let him go. best wishes.

Yes I agree because his happiness is our priority.
This is one of my favorite quote:
"Set it free. If it is yours, it will never leave. If it leaves and never comes back, it never really was yours"

I say follow your heart. It knows what it feels and what it's "talking about". Like the saying goes, "Let him go, if he comes back to you, he's yours to keep. If he doesn't come back, he wasn't yours to begin with". And when he comes back, it better be for good :)
