2) Resources would be used to collect and dump the paper products anyway. The net cost in these resources would be about nil.

3) Recycled paper must use a percentage of pulp, anyway. Wood pulp is a renewable resource, too. However, recycled paper, on the whole is far better on the environment than new paper. One problem is the demand for white paper. This requires bleaching which causes polution. This is a cost that exists more with recycled paper.
