He's not bored, YOU are. So, it's not more to do with him, it's more for you to do with him in tow.

A local mom's group is your best bet. They have all kinds of play-dates, groups and other events that cost little or nothing.

A little time off to yourself each week will also recharge you. The first few weeks at home with a largely non-interective newborn are challenging - hang in there!

Sounds like your doing enough with your 8 week old. There is not much more you can do..all they do at that age is sleep and eat. Just rest when he is resting and enjoy him as he is because before long he will be all over the place and then you will wish you were bored again.

Go to the park? Let him feel the grass on his lil toes and a light breeze on his face. My son gets sO happy everytime a lil breeze hits him his eyes light up and he giggles (sooo cute!!!). Even if you just take him to a store that could be fun for him. Some babies just like to be rolled around the stores and see all the lights and hear voices and sounds. Don't let yourself feel so "bored"... he's going to grow up faster than you know and then you'll miss the lil itty bitty baby days. Well, maybe. haha :]

Do exercises with him, hes small enough that you can do situps and he would enjoy it, also you can take him to a playland if you have a mall somewhere they have those play areas just go in the morning theres not many kids there in the morning.,

Have you started tummy time? Put on some music and dance with him. Put him in a bouncy chair and let him watch you cook or clean. Babies don't NEED constant entertainment. put him in his baby swing and go about household chores.

Money has nothing to do with doing things. Take him for walks in the fresh air. Visit family & friends. How old are you for goodness sake!

You are doing plenty with him. Just enjoy and don't rush it they grow up too fast.
