TRANSITIVE VERB:
ex·on·er·at·ed , ex·on·er·at·ing , ex·on·er·ates

1. To free from blame.
2. To free from a responsibility, obligation, or task.

TRANSITIVE VERB:
ex·punged , ex·pung·ing , ex·pung·es

1. To erase or strike out: "I have corrected some factual slips, expunged some repetitions" (Kenneth Tynan).
2. To eliminate completely; annihilate. See Synonyms at erase.

You may be able to be exonerated, but your record can't. Perhaps you wish to have your record expunged. This may be possible but will probably be more hassle than it is worth.
