The SSA Sent me my SSN Card and the Post Office Lost it.
I'm Concerned someone might use it if they find it..What Can I do?
The SSA And Post office told me there is nothing they can do... a ******* bullshit answer, meanwhile someone is probably making fraud or screwing up my credit they just sit back and eat McDonals. WTF!!!!

I set up a montly Credit check pretty much for the rest of my life now because some Idiots apparently "cant" do anything about it..and Credits checks dont come cheap.

And even if I do find them screwing up my credit all i can do is restore my Identity but my credit will still be screwd up.

Put a fraud alert on your credit file and ask the SSA for a new card (and try to pick it up in person if possible). That's about all you can do. It's fairly unlikely that anyone stole it, it probably just got dumped somewhere.

James has no clue what he is talking about. They actually don't need the card to steal your identity. The number and your name are enough. Please look into Identity Theft insurance. A good policy will provide someone to help you recover if your identity is stolen. Don't get a policy that just pays expenses. If you have to do all the work yourself, a $1 million payment won't be nearly as attractive as having someone else do all the work.

First, there is little someone can do with just a SS card. They would need some sort of ID in your name with their picture on it... The easiest thing to do to protect yourself is send a request to three credit bureaus that they put a hold on your record, effectively making it impossible for new lines of credit to be opened under your name.

Oh yeah. The Post Office lost it.

Where did they lose it? When did they lose it? Where did it go?
Stop blaming the Postal Service!
