Sure. Just grab the cable and connect your TV to your video card - right where you have the monitor connected now. My TV has a regular VGA port, so thats where I connect the other end of the cable. Just take a look at the connections available on your particular TV. Darn simple!
You don't need to go near you modem - we're not modulating anything here!

you need a lead like the one that connects your regular pc monitor to your graphics card.. you know the lead from your monitor that goes to the back of pc, well the lead should have two of the same ends .. then its down to your TV having that type of port on it too, if it has then its just a case of connecting it up .. if your tv is an older one you might find it doent have the necessary port then it goes into becoming a bit more difficult and way not worth the effort or money on new leads etc.. so just take a look

If you have a video card that has the s-video output on it just find the cord that attaches from that to your tv... But you do realize that watching a tv 10 feet away is pretty much the same as looking at your 17" monitor 2 feet away right?

There are numerous techniques to try this, depending on how plenty you like to spend and how a techniques aside the TVs are. the least complicated way is to establish your computing device with a Video out port and connect it to a video distribution amp. you will choose the amp and adequate cables to run to all the TVs. yet another approach is to apply a media center. you need to use an XBOX 360 for this, or use a linux field with specific application, or purchase some thing like the Linksys DMA 2100 (see link under). They run approximately $250, yet once you have an previous computing device you do no longer use, you need to establish Linux for unfastened and the Media center application for unfastened. See the Wiki under for hyperlinks to instruments and alertness. you are going to be able to additionally use some thing like bounce Frog, a instantaneous AV broadcaster, yet i'm unsure what number you need to use at as quickly as or what number you elect.

If all you TV has is composite video input (red, white, and yellow), as is suggested in your question, it is going to be intolerably low quality, so you will not want to do it. However, if you TV has RGB, VGA, DVI, or HDMI in, you can do it with quality ranging from pretty good to perfect. You will just need to find an adapter for whatever your computer outputs the video to whatever your TV inputs video to.

YES you can hook it up. All you have to do is match up the connections. Look in the back of your tv to see if you have one of the following connections, DVI, VGA or SVIDEO. Your computer should have a DVI and VGA connections (vga is blue and dvi is white). Just match up the connection and wala your tv is now your monitor. I have my computer hooked up to a 50 inch plasma. Let me know if you need futher details..

i think you can turn your television into a computer monitor, but you can't turn your monitor into a tv. if your computer specifically came with a TV tuner, it may be able to, but if not, you might be out of luck.

depends on the ports on your pc and ports on your tv. red/yellow/white plugs are rca. if you have s-video port out on your pc get a s-vid to rca cord. plug in. done.
