Most of us have at least one bad habit when it comes to money and what we do or don't do with it. For me my bad money habit has always been giving in to my impulses and buying things I really don't need. It's such a hard habit to break but after not being able to shop for a while as I had no funds, I think that actually helped me out a bit. Now my focus is more on saving and trying to figure out how to invest my money and make it work for me rather than how fast I can spend it. What's your bad money habit?

I don't do this anymore, but used to go out for lunch everyday....and usually to the chain restaurants...Chilis, Fridays, Chevys, etc....so lunch was $10-$15 per day...boy does it add up rather than eating $5 in the company cafeteria or just bringing lunch from home (probably $2-$3!)

Starbucks and vending machines. I know things are cheaper if you buy them at the grocery store, but sometimes I just want it NOW! I have all of my other bad habits under control, but this one has resisted all efforts.

I lose money. I get change and stick it in a pocket, like a side pocket, then lose it or wash it in the laundry. I think it shows a lack of respect for money.

Spending too much on eating @ restaurants & not wasting money on groceries. I buy produce & forget that I have it before it goes bad.
