I am 12 dpo and having sharp pains in my mid pelvic area (probably where my uterus is). They aren't extremely painful but VERY noticable and they aren't cramps. I am due for a period by the 15th. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

These pains just started today and happen once or twice every couple of minutes.

#1 is correct, I have a tilted uterus and I have the same thing happen. I would check with a Dr. just to be sure.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I too have those sharp pains ...certainly at the proper again and oftentimes pelvic. When I had those in my first being pregnant I was once scared too. Now I expect its my uterus stretching and making room...Try and lie down whilst you get the ones capturing pains and drink a few water and also you will have to believe higher...until there's no blood you dont need to fear. But in the event that they get insufferable then name your document for definite...well success

My cousin used to have the same problem and it ended up that her cervix was crocked or something like that. She just ignored the pain though and did end up pregnant but her doctor is worried about her being able to carry a baby full term. She also has a small uterus. If you haven't already gone to a doctor, you might want to do so.

Some people say they get "implantation cramps" when the baby is getting snug in the uterus. If I did, I don't remember it.

Honestly, I would probably just go to the doctor. Every two mins or so sounds like something is going on. It may be nothing, but you should get checked out just in case.

Good luck.
