I never much cared for it; however, I'm willing to give it a try after reading about it's health benefits.

GARLIC IS LIFE. Seriously, there's nothing garlic doesn't improve. There are garlic festivals all over the country, but I've always wanted to go to the mother of them all in Gilroy, CA & try the garlic ice cream! I have a t-shirt that says "Needs More Garlic." Tonight's dinner was salad with dressing made with cider vinegar, sugar, & lots of garlic cloves; roast chicken with olive oil, thyme, lemon and garlic; string beans from the garden & garlic bread! Get your garlic from a local farm if possible - the difference in taste & freshness is amazing. If you can't, make sure it's organic & from the US. There have been incidents of contaminated garlic imported from China that weren't clearly marked - yet another problem. Plus it keeps away the vampires! ;o)

I never used to like garlic but then I met an Italian guy and we ended up getting married and she always cooks with garlic included. Now I love the stuff and ever since I met my wife, I have suffered from far fewer colds and I am sure it is the garlic. It is meant to help your immune system.

I have loved garlic for many years... and I try to use fresh garlic in my cooking whenever possible... but you can also get garlic supplements that do not have an odor.

fresh, pickled, chopped and baked or fried, used in stew or soups, even garlic salt for seasoning.

the only thing you should never ever do with a fresh clove of garlic is rub the bottom of your foot with it. SERIOUSLY!
