1. How does one decide if a sunlight lamp is high quality, while buying online?
2. Is it safe to use for getting ready in the morning, tipped up to face me while I apply makeup?
3. Really, how accurately do they simulate sunlight?
Any other facts you can share would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for a sunlight lamp for getting ready in the morning, to combat winter blues and it is too dark in the morning for me to use actual sunlight.

I haven't used any almost 10 years so I would think the technology has improved. I did find a site which I can't say is legit or not so you may have to do further research. Hopefully though you can get some ideas from the site. http://www.fullspectrumsolutions.com/lighttherapy_8_ctg.htm

directly into your eyes.

As long as it is somewhere where there is come light coming through. If the plant starts to lean towards the light too much, turn it so it gets light on the other side too.
