That boat probably weighs about 2400 lbs with the trailer.

The Tracker (in 2001) has a 3000 lbs towing capacity.

I wouldn't tow more than that but if you don't need to tow it over the mountains, you should be fine. Leave a lot of extra space in front of you for stopping.

We have a 17 1/2' Bayliner open-bow with a 130 hp I/O. It weighs 2200 lbs with the trailer. I tow it with my 120 hp '85 4Runner and it's not bad on the flats. For the mountains, we use Mom's 183 hp '98 4Runner. That works pretty well.

Use low-range 4wd to get the boat up the ramp...it'll be a lot easier on your truck. You can use 4wd on pavement as long as you don't turn much....it's great for boat ramps.
