Its "normal" to start to feel movement from 16-22 weeks. WIth my first daughter, I didn't start feeling movement until I was 20+ weels along. I was freaking out, but the heartbeat at the doctor's appointment assured me everything was fine. With my second baby, I could feel movement starting at 18 weeks. I've read with each additional pregnancy movement can be felt earlier. Good luck. If you're that worried, call your doctor to see if he can locate the heart beat.

definitely normal. most women won't feel much movement until 20+ weeks. Even if you start feeling it before 20 weeks, the baby is so small you won't feel it ALL the time like you will later. believe me...you will definitely feel it. I first felt my son 14 weeks 5 days, and daddy could feel them on the outside at 18 weeks 3 days...it all just depends on your body....but like i said, even then you won't feel it ALL the time yet.

Don't worry, I am 20 weeks today and have not felt any thing, well I don't think. This is my first child so I am not for sure what it feels like just yet. My doctor said that if it was not my first child I probally would have felt something by now. I think I feel something but I am not for sure yet. I think it's like a flutter. He said give it a few more weeks!!!!!!

Is this your first pregnancy? 17 weeks is about right. Do you ever feel just a little gas bubble down by your bladder. Just a butterfly touch. Baby's still way down there. I bet he/she is letting you know, right now. You just didn't know what to look for.
