I don't want to go onto visitations anymore, because it's like torture to me. I live in Illinois, but I don't know where to look for information about it...

It is not emancipation, it's visitation. Just go to the court and tell the judge why you do not want to visit anymore. The needs of the child 99.9% of the time win out.

Emancipated means that you are no longer a dependent of your parents. You pretty much need to show a maturity, and proof that you are better of alone, and can support yourself. You would essentially be disowning both your parents. Though it sounds like you are referring to your fathers visitation rights. Ask your mother to petition the court, to make it optional. You could also try sending a letter to the judge, or find a laywer who will work pro bono.

You can't.

You can however ask the judge who set up the visitation schedule to change it. Ask your social worker for help in doing that,

If you are 16 or older there will be no problem. Yonger than that the courts have to rule...

Or of course, you could just talk to your dad about it, and together make things better so that you can enjoy it, or reduce the time. Chances are if you are not enjoying it, he isn't either. That is the best thing if you can fix the relationship.

You'd have to contact the court or have your mom contact the court and file for a change in custody agreement.
