I walked The Hadrian's Wall Path a couple of years ago. The people were absolutely great. You meet many locals who are friendly and helpful. Parts of it are very lonely and you must take this into account if you choose to move there. As a ;large city person I would love to live there but know that I would find the remoteness of many parts difficult to live with. Needless to say I can not really stay away for long. It's almost like a drug

I live in tyne and wear which is not far from northumberland, but we go to northumberland a bit with the dog. It's a beautiful place to go to, we'd like to live there but couldn't decide where to live as it's all so nice.
