Four major world religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism originated here, while Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Zoroastrianism arrived in the first millennium CE and shaped the region's variegated culture

India is home to two major linguistic families:
Indo-Aryan (spoken by about 74% of the population) and Dravidian (spoken by about 24%).
Other languages spoken in India, Hindi, with the largest number of speakers, is the official language of India. English, which is extensively used in business and administration, has the status of a 'subsidiary official language'.

The constitution also recognises in particular 21 other languages that are either abundantly spoken or have classical status. The number of dialects in India is as high as 1,652.

It's similar to the US in that it is a melting pot of different dialects and religions. India is such a large area with many people and there are differences in area just like in each state of the US there are cultural differences between them.

I guess government in Indian village is basically the elders council. They'd meet and all suggestions would be approved by the oldest member. Indians respect their elders in their culture.

Homework is given to you so you can learn, not get answers from other people. You're only cheating yourself.
