It's all about planning. Make sure you set time aside to do your homework, and that NOTHING stops you from doing it. In other words, when doing homework, don't be tempted to stop for a few minutes here and there to chat, watch TV, or whatever else. Just do homework, knowing that the more you focus, the quicker you'll be done. Another tip is to do your homework in your spare time (if you have any) while you are at school. Also, you can get it out of the way fast by doing it right as soon as you get home while what you learned is still fresh in your mind. Good luck!

Everyone has their own little tricks that help; you'll have to figure out what works best for you. In the past I have found that I study best when I bring my homework to the library with a pair of earplugs. Then I just sit down at a desk and get to work. If you find yourself slowing down, or have difficulty concentrating, get up and walk around for a couple of minutes, have something to eat, and resume studying. Good luck!

Get organized. Before starting homework, look at it, estimate how long each assignment will take. Start with the hardest one/ least liked because your mind is more able to cncentrate. Leave the easiest/best likes subject for last since you are less able to concentrate. After each assignment, take 5 minute break, get up and stretch, get a snack or drink, then start the next subject.

Stay focused. As soon as you get home, tell yourself, "I can play when I am satisfactorly done with my homework. If it takes to long, I will play this Friday or Saturday. The weekends are my playtime." Yes, adults have playtime too. Get away from all distractions. turn off the phone (yes, the cell phone too), t.v., stereo. Close the curtains/blinds and just focus.

Set small goals and give yourself little rewards when you achieve them. For example, if you need to read a chapter in a text, break the chapter into sections and allow yourself to get a drink of water or go onto Yahoo Answers after each section. That helps to keep you focused so you get the work done more quickly.

Also stay off the computer and Yahoo! Answers until you get it done. Then consider that a reward. Tell yourself you will get a reward when you are done with your homework. Then maybe that will give you an incentive to work harder and faster.

No TV nor iPod, not anything else to distract you. Try to enjoy the homework, and actually learn something from it. And do it on the day you're assigned to do it.

eliminate the distractions and get alone, focus and if you get frustrated, take a mini break of no more than 5minutes and then attempt to finish your homework.

best thing to do is start it while you're at school. if you have down time in any class work on your homework so you'll have more freetime outside of school.
