ok so we are making a senior float for tom. and I need a really good theme we are the devils and the team we are up agianst for football are the vikings but I need some Idea's heeeelp?

Viking Funeral? (no fire on a float)
a simple wooden looking viking boat with a Homemade "Bob".
Box fan sideways, on a frame to keep the fan able to suck air. Your school colors in shiny leightweight fabric attached solidly to the fan. Turn fan on, fabric flies like a fire. For better lighting on the flame, grab a few lights with colors of red, yellow and blue (blue for heat aspect....more blue for mystical flame of devils- that's subtle enough the smart kids will get it and the lesser intuitive ones will like the burning ship)
The one thing you don't want to do, which I'm sure you are all ready aware of because of your mascot, is the religious aspect. Parents will be in an uproar- atleast they would be when I was in school. I graduated a High School in the Bible Belt South.

This site also has some float ideas that you could maybe adapt. They also sell the supplies to make the float.
