I work for an accountant firm and we use Iris PAYEMaster- multiple companies no problem, and straight forward to!

i suggest you check with accountant as he may be able to do it cheaper than you doing it in-house - spread the cost over a larger number of clients - we charge clients £50ish a year which is cheap and alot more stress free for the client!

sage payroll. can buy for one company or add additional licences for to have multi companies.

I have 3 companies at work on one sage package

go to www.sage.co.uk

dead easy to use. easy to set up and easy to run reports off. also Sage provide stationary such as payslips so you dont have to do your own.

it all depends what suits your business needs really, you could get one custom made ideally. I can advise further on that as i am a developer myself.
