One advice. If you want to go to a University in California, at least live here for one year, so you don't have to pay the out of state fee....which is lot. My friend wanted to go to a University here as well and she stayed with me for a year before she applied. The fees otherwise would have been horrible

Humboldt state. It's in nor-cal, Arcata California to be exact.

That's where I go. We have really low enrollment right now, so if your at all qualified, you will probably get in.

also its really close to the beach. Maybe not walking distance, but about a 15 minute car ride.

As an out of state student you will want a minimum of $25,000 a year to flow to college in California. as properly, the Cal State colleges are accepting in simple terms approximately no out of state scholars by way of fact the state funds cuts have ended of their not having sufficient room for the youngsters raised in California. incredibly, you will get the final deal at your state college. I pay attention UND is an extremely reliable college.

I agree with Keera. Establish residency in California first, then apply to a state college as a CA resident. Should be easy if you have family there you can live with.
