If so, is it any good? Opinions?

It is good.
He cares about people and wants to try to work something possitive out on the show, but he seems to allow for the craziness of the springer show too. So I like that it's more balanced, and not just about people coming on stage to dance naked and get into fights like Springer.
He's having a "devil mom" on friday...some confrontation from prison with a woman who molested her own kids..put them through years of psycoligical torment and abuse from what I understand. He's confronting her from prison...and it's supposed to be pretty good from the way they are hyping it up. So this could be interesting, and it's making me hope that his show can last for several years....he deserves it.

I saw the first one....the other 2 are on tivo so will probably watch them later this week if not tonight.....It is too early to have an opinion but at least it will last longer then anchor woman...... I think that he yells too much and there wont be the kind of fights you see on jerry......:D....I think that it will do well in its time slot......

He should stay with Jerry. With all the talk shows out there, I don't believe his will be one that sticks out. Personally, I think Jerry should retire & then Steve could take over...it has much better following.

I saw one episode - I was not impressed, he's kind of taking the "Dr Phill" route and he was a cop - not a a social worker - not a shrink - not a doctor.
I hope he's being paid well it's not going to last.
