Leonardo Da Vinci. He was and remains the most revolutionary inventor and engineer the world has ever seen. If you don't know much about him, let me give you a hint: he was so advanced in his mentality that he would write blueprints for things in his journal before it was possible to create them (due to the sheer time it takes to make groundbreaking technological revolutions), and yet he lived about 500 years ago!
