Mr.TNA summed it up real nice with his answer.

I enjoyed the good 'ole days of the WWF. The WWF has legitimate tag-teams, a respectable womens' division, entertaining gimmicks, and "wrestling" matches.

The WWE of today, we get Diva pillow fights and half of the matches end in DQ via a chairshot or outside interference (run-ins).

It's the same thing.

The WWF became the WWE in 2002. But to answer, the WWF was better. It had famous superstars like Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Honky Tonk Man, Ultimate Warrior, Ahmed Johnson, Mankind and his other 2 alter egos, The Undertaker, The Road Warriors, Demolition, Doink the Clown, Bam Bam Bigelow, The Bushwhackers, Earthquake and Typhoon, Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels, the poem master "Leapin' " Lanny Poffo, Macho Man Randy Savage, even The Weasel (LOL) Bobby Heenan. The list goes on.

Better than John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Batista, Randy Orton, M.V.P., or any other superstars from today.

You gotta love the nostalgia.

Well, seeing that the WWF has a lot more history under its name than WWE, it'd have to be WWF. I mean, WWE's not bad, but its been less than a decade since they changed their name, while WWF's got a lot more in terms of history.

WWF with the history becuase the new name WWE is still young to the name.

They changed it becuase a wildlife fundation was also WWF and a lawsuit happened. Cut to the end the Wildlife won and WWF was forced to change it to something else so they pickked WWE

WWF. It's just that there happens to be a WWF for animals and that's how they lost the naming rights for the company.

WWF, give me old school wrestling anyday. WWE is begging for the next Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair (in his prime), and Andre the Giant.

Plus look how colorful the mangers like Capt. Lou, The Grand Wizard, Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, were and what heat they brought to the arena.
