Their six game losing streak came to a halt today AND...

They had lost 100 games in three consecutive years.

Scratch that too!

Come on you guys! It's just a pat on the back for a team (and a class franchise) that has been down for several seasons. Since they obviously are not a threat, why ya so grumpy? Sheeeeesh!

I'll give some props to the Royals, they've only played the toughest schedule to date, and have finally managed to climb out of last place in the AL Central. a couple more years and maybe we'll be talking about Billy Butler for MVP baby.

Go Royals!!!!!

Thumbs up for the Royals, thumbs down for the system they play in.

The Royals minor leagues have always been competitive, prime example being their Rookie club, Idaho Falls Chukars. The Chukars were in first place every day of both halves of the regular season.

Go Chukars!!!

I am a Royals, fan and they are not the worst team in baseball, look at the standings in both leagues. Yes I watch George Brett Play many times, that team was great. STILL A FAN.

Hell yeah.... GO ROYALS!!!!! Watch out next year AL Central. Butler can hit like mad, Gordon finally learned how to be a big league player and a few offseason moves could really shore up the pitching staff.

As an older Yankee fan who enjoyed the Yankees-Royals rivalry in the 1970's & 80's it is so sad what this team has turned into b/c of an ownership that don't care for it's team or fanbase.

They did good because they did not get last place.

To the first answer the Royals play in Kansas City, Missouri.

In all fairness, they haven't earned a thumbs up in years. When they can complete a season over .500 then I'll be glad to.

Thumbs down. The management stopped caring for them. Nice field though. Just because they aren't last doesn't mean they had a good year. I have to admit better year than before.
