Here is what you need to do... You need to make this full-day workout. Start off with an hour of excersising. Second you need an energy drink followed with swings with the bat at nothing, work on mechanics. Third, you go tinto the batting cages, for an hour at least. 4th you need to do more streching. 5th, you take a mile jog. 6th, you take more swings without the cage. 7th, and least, you go to the gym, and lift some weights.

get a basket ball and hit it back and forth back and forth which helps your wrist and make them snap which creates bat speed do about 100 times... Then work on exploding threw the ball by just swinning full force make sure your head is down do about 50 times !! Then buy plastic little practice golf balls and throw them up and swing with a bat and that will train your eye to watch the ball which increases swing power also a few nice lifiting work outs never hurts and make sure to hit BP wise atleast 3-5 times a week :) hope this helped :)

Believe it or not, get into a swimming pool to about chest deep and swing a bat like you are trying to hit. The resistance will help strengthen the muscles you need. The actual secret to power hitting is actually bat speed.
