It is not so much about the length of time he works, but the quality of the time spent when you are together. Mutual love, respect, and caring are good for a marriage even if and when he works 12 hours per day and 7 days per week as you suggest. Does he give you his best when you are together? Does he have the option to vacation or work less? Does he want to be with you when he can? These are the more important questions.

My husband works 12+ hours a day too and we have a great marriage. It's about what you do whit the time you do have together.

It could be or it could be bad... If he works alot then the time you have would be cherished and you would'nt fight about trival things , but in the same token if your marriage isn't strong then it is probably a bad thing.. Atleast you have a husband that works that should be a positive for him.. YOu could have one that just lays around and does nothing while you work :0)

It is for the wallet but for your marrige problem not.The thing about being gone so long e veryday would get really boring to the spouse and no amount of money can save that.......Maybe you can talk to him and see if he can get his hrs cut back some.Or either ask for a vacation for a week or so...Couldnt help to ask.

Trust me it is probably a lot better for him to work 12 hours everyday than be home 24 hours a day.
With a little work and patience anything can be good for a marriage.

well is good for yo pockets! lol no but seriously I think its ok as long as you two spend time toghter! and as long as things are not changing in your lives to the point where you hate eachother! if all is still golden then yeah its fine! just try to keep the lines of communication open if its bothering you to the point where you are mad all the time then say something and work out a better schedual..but if is all good then leave it be!

larry j's Q&As are private...are you a male??? I mean you ask the question to the ladies about your husband...maybe you are the "female" of the relationship...can you give us a little more info...even if you guys are in a gay relationship...as long as both partners are happy (even if one is working full time) than the time spent together is what really matters...

it won't hurt the marriage unless you let it if it is bothering you you should talk to him about it do you work if not try to find something part time so you don't have to sit around and think about him being at work all the time you will have some thing to take your mind off of it
