I keep on hearing that there will be severe punishments. However, I have only heard that these punishments will be future draft picks. I think that the NFL should destroy that dynasty by giving them a real severe penalty - Forfeiture of games won.

The reason they cheated was so that they would win. If we take those away we will take away one of the potential incentives for cheating. This team has already done a lot without using the draft - will taking away picks really effect them? Hit 'em where it really hurts

This is more severe than the cheating by bonds. If he did it then he was one person who cheated while the orgaization looked the other way. However, this is the organization cheating. By them cheating they forced the entire team to cheat. Hit 'em where it really hurts - forfeit those games.

Without a doubt they certainly did destroy their "dynasty," not to mention they have brought disgrace to themselves, the Patriots. Using your own eyes to cheat is one thing. But to use high tech recording, listening, spying devices, etc..... to gain knowledge and advantage over their opponent(s) to secure a win is not only wrong, it's cheating in every sense of the word, plain and simple. If I was the NFL Commissioner, I would impose a very stiff punishment like banning them from the Post Season Play-off, stemming from the 2007 regular season, with no exceptions. This would get the message across to the rest of the league that America's favorite Sport, NFL, is not going to tolerate such activities of wrong doing, (Cheating), that damages or destroys the integrity of the NFL. Would you agree a stiff punishment like this would get everyone's attention on what not to do, in order to preserve and carry-over the NFL's high standards of sportsmanship?

I think that they did! Now in the minds of everyone, not pats fans though, will be the questions of just exactly have they done. I personally wonder if they got caught with video taping, what else have they done that they didn't get caught with. And excatly how long have they been doing this. Personally I think its funny that they were dump enough to get caught, nevermind get caught video taping, what were they doing making file footage, for the next time they play them? If the Pats are as good as everybody says they are, then they wouldn't have needed to resort to stuff like this. I say make them forfiet the season!!

Well, you would have to have called them a 'dynasty' prior to the cheating for that to happen... They were a mini-dynasty at best, and Bill Belicheat has been exposed for his diabolical ways of winning games, i.e. the tuck rule, watering down the field, having dbs hanging all over wr's, and filming the Packers practices... He is an arrogant, horrible person and should have to forfeit the Jets game and be suspended for at least 4 games as head coach. If Mr. Kraft were smart, he would fire him right now. Guaranteed the Rooneys would fire his butt on the spot.

Not Even Close. They did break the rules, but to the extend of Bonds (who I believe is not guilty until evidence shows up) The Pats are still the Dynasty they were last week.

Even though they may not be the only team to have committed that offense, they were the first to get caught, and will probably be the only team, as the other teams who tried taping will see how the Patriots were punished. It is unfortunate, no matter what team you are a fan of, to see a great team have their credibility questioned, and possibly ruined, while all games that were one come into question. I think that their dynasty will be ruined, and after all this distraction, they will probably not win another championship this year.

I hope not! As a Colt fan they are the team I love to hate!
I don't want the franchise destroyed by the rule book. I want to see them destroyed them on the field. GO CHARGERS!

Yes! The "Class of the NFL"! NOT! They are a very good team but were totally wrong to cheat! They should be renamed "The Cheat-triots"!
