OKAY, my initial thoughts were NO, government and religion should stay clear paths,

BUT!!!!!!

With Catholic Schools in Canada, they have already been getting subsiticies for decades.

So is like Canada racist against all other religions or what?

This debate has been a hot issue in Quebec and Ontario.

I THINK SUPPORT THEM ALL or None

luv to hear ur thoughts

We have a great system here in America which offers a public education for all of its citizens, one of the things that makes this system remarkable is that it allows for competition. If you would like to start a school you are free to do so and to state what you will teach in that school. But this is a private school in which you are responsible for the success as well as the failure for the school. A lot of people seem to get angry when the topic is relative to the government assisting individuals financially but seem unconcerned when the government provides financial assitance to private businesses. It is my opinion that the government should fully fund the public education system but should stay clear of funding or providing assistance to private (whether for profit or not) education, regardless of the person or religion that backs the school or school system.

Catholics schools receive funding because they follow the public board's guidelines.

To date, none of the other religions barking about funding have agreed to conform to the public board, they want to control their content and curriculum.

Had the catholics been so unyielding, I doubt they'd have gotten funding either.

"So is like Canada racist against all other religions or what?"

Discrimination on the basis of religion is not being "racist". Racism mean discriminating on the basis of race or ethnicity.

That's ludicrous. The government should not support religious schools because church and state should be separate. You are right. If you're gonna' support one then support them all.
