I worked for the company in il for 12 yrs. I was denied benefits and appealed the decision. My employer did not show, up. I did appeal the decision, again, to the board of review. I am still waiting. I know my ex employer, will not intervene, they never, do. I was terminated for misconduct.

If you were canned for a good reason, you don't get unemployment. Just go get another job.l

Your problem is, you were fired, making you ineligible for benefits. Had you lost your job through lay off, things would be different.
The whole unemployment scram is run by idiots who seem to think the money is coming out of their pockets.

In Arkansas they make you wait 8 weeks for the first check after being terminated. At least you get it eventually.

Are you in the U.S?
If so, yes i did.
I appealed mine because my employer did not follow their own guidelines for letting me go and they awarded me my unemployment.

no trying to get unemployment if youve been denied is almost impossible I was told It could take up to a year to resolve good luck
