My brother is considering driving across the US in October - and I am curious to know how long it might take him.

I'd give it a good 5 days-- maybe even a week if he wants to stop ate certain places along the way.
Should be a pretty drive though. That is something I want to do someday myself...

My son drove from NH to Pittsburg,Ca one year and it took him 4 days and 3 nights of steady driving. He did stop at night to sleep.
