Well I'm not a fan of either person but I would have to say Hilary Duff because she's making the effort to help out charities and donate money to them too. Avril Lavigne doesn't really do anything but flip people off and cuss at them. No offense but seriously she doesn't really do anything that impacts anyone's life like Hilary has.

Voice wise, I think Avril is better. Unlike Hilary her voice doesn't sound as if it was computerized or anything. I mean, I know Hilary TRIES but can she just not sing? It's not called singing when they have to modify you voice all the time.
Personality wise, Hilary is so much nicer in my opinion. Avril Lavigne is just so full of herself that it's so annoying.
