Moon influence on living things, . .absurd, impossible, superstition, myth, crazy etc too bad if thats what you bellieve, your missing the good part of living  in this amazing EARTH our home. Open up your EYES & MIND look around you, be observant. Yes human being or anything with brain or nervous system composed of nerve network respond to the changing electromagnetic pattern around them. Yes, you & me, everybody are influence by the changing position of the moon, not because of the light but due to changing magnetic force as the MOON revolves around the earth. The effects are gradual and peaks approx 5 day before and after Full MOON. ELECTROMAGNETIC-INDUCTION is what makes our brain respond to the changing magnetic-flux as the EARTH is place between the SUN  & Moon.

Around you have you notice the followling:
~There are more traffic police in action 3 day before & after fullmoon

~If you drive in the expressway notice how smooth everybodydrive on assigned lane most of time, but come fullmoon watch-out you can be ONE of the many in a hurry waving between lanes. Be carefull.. notice cars having trouble or in an accident. (Make a daily list/count to believe)

~You & people around you..there are more argument, complains, animated discussion during fullmoon. Notice people you know personally who tend to feel sick when the gets bigger, including you... but by being aware you can counter act and thus feel better.

~Watch out for the kids, they would have unexplainabe tantrums, very active/out of control and more accident.Being aware could minimize the bad situation and understand its just the moon.

~Talking to a Doctor, they do notice there are more child birth when moon is bigger ? ? ?

~If your married look at yourself, you spouse and kids, can you sense the behavior variation as moon cycles ? Being aware could minimize unneccesary arguments, hurt feelings.

~TV, Newspaper..big events, accidents ussually when the moon is bigger.(Remember Iraq war decided on a full moon, Oklahoma bombing ? etc)

I believe the scientific community can't accept the effects of moon cycles, because if it's UNMEASURABLE IT CAN'T BE TRUE. Up to now we can't measure or give value to emotions, feelings thus we don't have way to validate the change, however if you can sense the changes, see the effect, with an open mind can use it for good. Now you can have better understanding of what's going on around you..

So far these are what I found out:

>If you got to have a Party/event and date is not important..do it when the moon is bigger. It will be more lively and a success, but watch out there might be ONE out of control.

>If you're a salesman and having difficulty with a client who can't decide close the deal on fullmoon, you either get the order or stop wasting your time.

>Going to shopping on a fullmoon..watch out you'll be buying more than you really need.

>Big accident on a fullmoon...JUST PRAY..( if only they know it could have been prevented). Many are careless, out of control, too aggressive when it' fullmoon.

Remember all are affected by the moon, only your awareness and discipline can determine  the degree of your response. Don't forget...BELIEVE BUT VERIFY>>>LIfe is beautiful.

Tide tables are readily available.

The "people are crazy during a full moon" thing is a myth. It's supported by no evidence and reinforced with confirmation bias.

To the person who made the correlation between the oceans and our body's water content: You have no idea what you're talking about. The moon affects the tides of the ocean on a massive (key word here) scale. It's pulling a very fluid mass of water a very slight bit. That scale of gravitational pull has no discernible impact on our small, relatively rigid bodies. Even if it did pull on us, who is to say that pull would do anything more than just slightly lower our weight?

To add a little example to Peter's excellent response directly above mine, if you do the calculations you'll find that if you stand next to a large building it can exert about as much or even more gravitational influence on you than the moon does. The force of gravity between two masses is proportional to the product of the two masses divided by the distance between them squared.

I'm a dinnerlady and I've seen at first hand the effect of the full moon in the playground. No kidding, there's more fights and accidents than at any other time. I use a lunar calendar so the team knows when to brace themselves, lol

Funnily enough, strong winds cause a similar effect too.

just tap in Moon Phases in search, you will get lots of info on the effects of the moon..... so Doug.....you don't believe the effect of the moon eh? never heard of the flow and ebb of tides, and that farmers use the moon phases to go by for their planting and harvesting......also did you know where the term Lunatic derived from.....yes....you got it.....THE MOON
edited to add......we are made up of 75% water.... so if the moon affects the great oceans....just think what it can do to us
