Usually when you purchase an ISBN it costs around $60 dollars and up, depending where you are from. The Library of Congress is where you purchase your ISBN number. Usually the place you get published from does it and includes the price if you are print on demand. Otherwise, they should have information on the website somewhere.

One thing you can do is type purchase ISBN # on google.com or some other search engine. That should be enough to find what you are looking for.

The ISBN number for any book is unique to that title. It is located above the bar code of any book. To find out the cost, check out this website where you can type in the ISBN number, author or subject and get a list of prices from online. If you don't know an ISBN number, check out Amazon.com, they will list ISBN numbers along with other info. Good luck!

You cannot purchase an ISBN number. Only a publisher can purchase numbers and they are sold in multiples of ten. If you are self publishing and your company isn't giving you one, you will have a very hard time selling any books. Self publishing is a black hole. It costs a lot of money and the average number of books sold by a self published author is under 100. Pax-C

the isbn # should be right above the bar code and you can call the book company that made it to find out the price
