Even if he is only a commentator, doesn;t your country need more DISSENT? Dear God, your government is there to be criticised, not made to feel comfortable!

Joey1305, so you mean Mr Olbermann should agree with Bush or shut up? Oh yes, that would make Mr Bush happy, then the whole of America would be happy. I .....see.....

Nope, not even close. Bill O'Reilly averages twice as many viewers as Keith Olbermann The link below, is the Nielsen TV Ratings comparing both shows. You can clearly see, they ratings of the two shows aren't even close.

He's a whiny ***** that doesn't even make sense. He acted like it was a whole scandal that Bush "lied." because bush said in his book that we'll need to be in Iraq for a bunch more years before it's conquered. I'm a libertarian, but I still think Keith Oberman is a dumb, uneducated fascist. He insulted Colin Powell for having at first been associated with the Bush administration just two days ago or something. Keith Oberman should go back to sports immediately, his mind is not fit for analyzing politics.

Yes, but few that are so outspoken and articulate.

For those that say he is not a journalist, how do you explain this?

Other news journalism

Olbermann was a fill-in for newscaster Paul Harvey.[citation needed] The September 11, 2001 attacks provided the impetus for Olbermann to return to full-fledged news reporting.[citation needed] He won an Edward R. Murrow Award for reporting from the site of the attacks for 40 days on ABC Radio and Los Angeles radio station KFWB.[37] Olbermann wrote a weekly column for Salon.com from July 2002 until early 2003.[38]

hahahahahahahahaha If you had any sense of reality or intellegence you'd realize American media keeps this failure of a news reporter on, just to prove a point of how off the wall and ridiculous his points are! He is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ratings. He is on the lowest rated 24/7 news outlet in the states. To give you a comparison CSPAN has 3 times the audience! and CSPAN'S audience is around 300,000 viewers. Its like this; if he had any validity in what he was saying he'd be on a major network! He'll never get there. Hell even that clown Glen Beck has about 1.5 million viewers!!!

I find it funny how people who live in police states like Britain where the government monitors your every movement and takes 70% of your income can accuse others of having poor government.

Perhaps you Limey's should stop throwing stones, if for nothing else other than the sake of your glass house.

I hate to point out a simple fact. Keith Olbermann is NOT a journalist, he is a commentator. He does not report news, he reports opinion. He is just like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, or Rush Limbaugh, except he happens to be liberal.

lol, Keith Olbermann. He's nothing special, really. Don't get me wrong, I love Countdown, I think he's funny, but that's not news and media, it's entertainment. If you want more like that, we've got Stephen Colbert and John Stewart.

He's not a journalist. He's a political commentator and he has the worst ratings on television. Nobody watches him in the United States. He's a complete jackass! Everytime I watch him he is attacking Bill O'Reilly who is on a different channel in the same time slot. He attacks O'Reilly relentlessly because O'Reilly (Fox News-Fair and Balanced) consistently destroys him in the ratings. As I said, nobody watches him in the US. Maybe he should move to Europe since you like him so much?

In the U.S. we call him a liar...Now should Mr. Olbermann learn how to report the news objectively (as in without including his personal liberal bias), then we might change his title to journalist.

Edit: Did "hooked on phonics" not work for you?
All I said was that, he should present the news OBJECTIVELY, as in with out ANY BIAS!
