Maybe old folks have realized there's more to life than tearing around at super sonic speed and that getting there is preferable to getting there quickly.

No the reason they drive slow is cause they don't have good vision like in their younger age and they could crash not only that but imagine they get a hard attack and the are driving like 80mph they are not gonna be able to get their foot on the break and that would create a big accident
I don't think teenager should drive fast neither they just do it cause they are proud they could drive
